The Feedback Module enables a site to gather general information from a user. This module can easily be utilized as a Contact Us form, a Guestbook form, or a Comments form. It allows your users to easily type in a quick message and submit it. This module also has a companion module called the Feedback Comments Module that is also displayed on this page.

The Feedback Comments Module displays information entered by users via the Feedback Module. This module is not required for the Feedback Module to work properly. The Feedback Comments Module would be used to display entries by users if you use the Feedback Module for either Guest book or Comments functionality. These two companion modules can be set so that entries automatically show in the Feedback Comments Module or they can be set to force moderation before an entry shows in the Feedback Comments Module.

The Feedback Module is capable of a number of different customizations. It can be set to send an email of the user's entries to a specified email address. Like wise, you can select to send a copy of the email to the user that submitted the Feedback Module as well as allowing them to opt out of receiving that copy of the email.

The Feedback Module allows for Categories to be defined. This allows one Feedback Module to be used to collect information for multiple purposes. The module can be set to allow the user to select the Category or to just default the value.  The Subject field works exactly the same way as the Category field with the exception that it can be set to be a textbox or a dropdown listbox.

The Feedback Module on this page shows how the CAPTCHA security can be utilized as well to help protect against automated computer or robot attacks to your site. The use of CAPTCHA is optional.
